This inspiring talk by Brian Webster from Peace Haven provides a brief history of Christian Science nursing, and reflects on how Christian Science nursing supports the mission of our church and how Christian Science facilities like Peace Haven fit into this mission. This talk is an opportunity to discuss:

  • How and why Christian Science nursing began in our church
  • The role Christian Science nursing plays in our church’s mission today
  • The distinct roles Christian Science practitioners and Christian Science nurses have in healing
  • The role each of us plays in supporting Christian Science nursing

It also highlights the metaphysical underpinnings of Christian Science facilities like Peace Haven and the various types of care these organizations offer students of Christian Science.
